Experimental investigation on the post-fire cyclic behavior of grouted sleeve connections

Grouted sleeve connections have been widely used in precast construction for joining rebar. In order to study their post-fire seismic performance, grouted connections, which are heated first elevated temperature and then cooled down room temperature, tested under both monotonic cyclic loadings. For comparisons, the same tests also carried out on continuous The failure modes, skeleton curves compression strength of specimens analyzed influence performance connections. results show that buckling occurs all loading. It is found curves, compressive rebar decrease with increase up 600 °C. From test basis GMP GA hysteric constitutive models steel, a modified model law presented validated. demonstrate capable accurately simulating hysteretic properties steel rebars
